  • Export packaging enables your goods to arrive intact and undamaged to your overseas buyer. Export packaging is the outer packaging designed to protect your goods during transit and includes packaging items such as boxes or wooden crates, metal drums, and plastic shrink-wrapping.

  • A Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI) is a letter from the exporter/shipper instructing the freight forwarder on how and where to handle the export shipment. It also grants us permission to act on your behalf as the authorised forwarding agent.

  • Incoterms are International rules for the interpretation of trade terms. They are used to make international trade easier and help us and other traders worldwide understand one another. To learn more about Incoterms click here.

  • Dangerous goods and Hazardous Substances are substances that pose potential health effects and therefore they are classified based on whether they are acute or chronic health effects. They can have immediate physical or chemical affects such as explosions, fires, serious injury, death or even large-scale damage.

    These substances are corrosive, flammable, combustible, explosive, oxidizing or water-reactive or have other hazardous properties.
